Your questions answered
When would I need a travel with medication letter?
If you are travelling overseas with medicines, many airlines and countries will require a medical letter as evidence.
Our doctors can provide you with a same-day medical letter confirming that your medicines are prescribed to you (and when), as well as the health condition you need them for.
What will happen after I purchase a travel with medication letter?
Once uploaded, our doctors will review your evidence on the same day (between 9am and 9pm GMT, 7 days a week) – they may call you if they have any questions.
Once validated, we will send your travel with medication letter to you by email and SMS.
What information and medical evidence do you require from me?
After purchase, you will receive a unique certificate booking reference number, which will allow you to upload your medical evidence via a simple form.
To allow us to assess your condition and issue a medical certificate, we will require the following information:
- A photo of your passport
- Your completed online medical form
- Your current prescription or repeat medication form
- Confirmation of your health condition
- Details of your regular Doctor (if you have one)
Who signs the certificate and how do I know it’s legitimate?
Once your medical evidence has been checked your certificate will be authorised and signed by one of our selected Doctors.
All our doctors are UK GPs registered with the GMC (General Medical Council) and work as GPs within the NHS.
Zoomdoc Health is an authorised medical provider regulated by the Care Quality Commission. Our contact details will be shown on your certificate with a QR code enabling a verification check of your certificate.
What happens if you cannot validate my medical evidence?
Our doctors thoroughly review your medical evidence and may call you if they have any questions.
If for any reason, we are unable to validate your evidence or are unable to supply you with you a certificate you will be notified and given a full refund.
