To prove your COVID-19 status for travel, work, visits, or another reason, you may require our test verification service to obtain a certificate as evidence.
Our doctors can provide you with a same-day medical certificate confirming the result of your COVID-19 rapid lateral flow test. No appointment is needed – simply apply online.
What will I receive?
You will receive a verifiable digital PDF letter signed by a medical professional and sent directly to your mobile, containing the following details:
- Your name, passport number and date of birth.
- Confirmation of the date and time your test was taken, the type of test taken (rapid lateral flow) and the test manufacturer (Flowflex or Healgen).
- Approved confirmation of the test result – negative, positive, or unclear.
- Signature and authorisation by one of our GMC-registered UK doctors.
- Contact details of ZoomDoc Health with a QR code enabling a verification check.
How to get a COVID-19 test verification service online with ZoomDoc

Upload by 9pm for 2 hour service. This should be a 30-second to 1-minute video showing you taking your lateral flow test at home.

You’ll receive an email with your letter, with a QR code so they can be verified and accepted worldwide.
Important – Our COVID-19 test verification service
Our service is only suitable if you already have a rapid lateral flow test manufactured by either Flowflex or Healgen, and you need your test to be observed in order to verify the result. As no physical test kit is provided as part of this service, you can purchase one from our online store or your local pharmacy.
Please note: We are unable to accept a photo of a cassette as evidence without the video of the test being taken.
What will I need to supply?
To allow us to verify your test result and issue a medical certificate, we will require the following information:
- A photo of your passport or driving license
- A photo of your test cassette taken 15 minutes after your test
- A 30-second to 1-minute video that shows you taking your own lateral flow test (Flowflex or Healgen)
Which test kits can be verified by this service?
We can only verify Flowflex or Healgen branded COVID-19 tests as part of this service.
Flowflex and Healgen rapid lateral flow tests can be purchased from most pharmacies.

What will happen after purchase the COVID-19 test verification service?
After purchase, we will provide you with your unique certificate booking reference number, which will allow you to upload your medical evidence.
Once uploaded, our doctors will review your evidence on the same day (between 9am and 9pm GMT, 7 days a week) – they may call you if they have any questions.
Once validated, we will send your COVID-19 test result certificate to you by email and SMS.
Is ZoomDoc a UK Government-listed provider?
Yes, ZoomDoc is registered to provide COVID-19 tests and certificates.
What do I need to do before taking my test on video?
You will need to have your own rapid lateral flow test kit, manufactured by either Flowflex or Healgen.
You will also need to have someone who is able to shoot the video of you taking the test at home.
Please wash your hands thoroughly both before and after taking your test.
Will the swab hurt?
Please follow the test kit instructions in your Flowflex or Healgen test kit box carefully.
Taking a swab test can feel uncomfortable – you may feel like gagging, but you should not experience pain.
If you begin to experience strong resistance or pain, do not insert the swab any further into your nose or throat.
When will I receive my COVID-19 test result certificate?
Our team will review your evidence and provide you with your COVID-19 test result certificate on the same day, WITHIN 2 HOURS from when your evidence was uploaded (between 9am and 9pm GMT, 7 days a week).
Which tests can be verified by this service?
We can only verify Flowflex or Healgen branded COVID-19 rapid lateral flow tests. Both are approved by the MHRA and can be purchased from most pharmacies.
What happens if my swab test result is POSITIVE?
If you test POSITIVE, you should try to avoid contact with others as much as possible in order to prevent others from spreading or catching your infection.
What is listed on my COVID-19 test result certificate?
The certificate confirms your full name, date of birth and passport number, along with the date / time your test was taken and your result:
- NEGATIVE
- POSITIVE
- UNCLEAR
