About this medical letter
Disability medical letter
If you or your child has a disability, whether visible or hidden, you may need a letter confirming your medical condition as proof when seeking support or accommodations. This can include housing applications, airport assistance, and access to events or theme parks. Hidden disabilities, such as chronic pain, mental health conditions, or neurological disorders, are just as valid and may also require documentation.
Our doctors can provide a same-day disability letter that outlines your condition and its impact on daily life. No appointment is necessary – simply apply online.
What will I receive?
You will receive a verifiable digital PDF letter signed by a medical professional and sent directly to your mobile, containing the following details:

- Your medical disability and how it affects you.

- Contact details of ZoomDoc Health with a QR code enabling a verification check.

Hidden Disabilities
What are hidden disabilities?
Hidden disabilities, also known as invisible disabilities, are conditions that are not immediately apparent to others but still significantly impact a person’s daily life. Examples include mental health disorders (like anxiety or depression), chronic illnesses (such as fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome), learning disabilities (like dyslexia), and neurological conditions (such as autism or ADHD).
Why would someone with a hidden disability need a medical letter?
People with hidden disabilities may need a medical letter to verify their condition when requesting accommodations or support. Since these disabilities are not visible, organisations may require proof of the condition to provide appropriate assistance or access, such as in housing, at the airport, or for special provisions at events.

What Conditions are Classed as a Disability?
Disability is defined under the Equality Act 2010, which states a person is considered disabled if they have a physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on their ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities.
A few examples of recognised disabilities include:
- Physical disabilities such as mobility impairments, chronic pain conditions, or visual or hearing impairments.
- Mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia.
- Neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, or cerebral palsy.
- Learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, or autism spectrum disorders.
- Long-term health conditions such as HIV/AIDS, cancer, diabetes, or chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS/ME).If you suffer from any of the above conditions, or other conditions classed as disabilities, then you may require a disability medical letter to ensure you can provide proof of your condition if required.

”We understand that confirming and proving you or your child has a disability is not always that simple. Our disability medical letter will confirm the disability and how it affects you or your child from day to day. Our medical letters all have QR codes, which make it easy to confirm validity when provided to airports, concert venues, stadiums, events or theme parks. They can also be used as part of Blue Badge and housing priority applications to confirm disabilities.“
