Same-day allergy medical certificate, required to confirm allergies and medications that you require to have on standby.
About this certificate
Allergy medical certificate
If you or your child has a severe allergy and require a medical certificate to simply confirm the exact type of allergy and the medications that you require to have on standby in case of exposure, we are here to help.
Allergies are very common and for some, can prove fatal if they suffer from a severe anaphylactic reaction and do not have access to emergency medical treatments. Some of the most common type of allergies include medications, food allergens [ie nuts, milk, gluten], pollen, dust mites, latex, animal dander and insect stings.
Medications that allergy patients will often have on standby may include antihistamines and intramuscular adrenaline.
Our doctors can provide you with a same-day medical certificate that will confirm the exact allergen, the signs of the allergic reaction, what you need to avoid, plus the medications you require to have on standby. No appointment is needed – simply apply online.
What will I receive?
You will receive a verifiable digital PDF medical letter signed by a medical professional and sent directly to your mobile, containing the following details:
- Your name and date of birth.
- The type of allergy and allergens that can cause a serious allergic reaction or anaphylaxis.
- Medications that you require to carry with you, in case of exposure.
- Signature and authorisation by one of our GMC-registered UK doctors.
- Contact details of ZoomDoc Health with a QR code enabling a verification check.
How does it work?
Following the purchase of your allergy medical certificate, you will be asked to complete a short online form. This includes uploading a 30-second to 1-minute video to explain the allergy and how it affects you or your child. You will also be asked to upload evidence of any medication that you have been prescribed to have on standby.
Your evidence is then reviewed by our doctors, prior to issuing you with your allergy medical certificate. If our doctors have any further questions, they may give you a quick call.
Accepted worldwide, this digital PDF letter and allergy passport is signed by a UK-registered doctor and includes a QR code enabling everyone from nurseries, schools, workplaces, restaurants or airlines to verify it.

”If you or your child has a serious allergy you may be required to confirm your allergy to your school, place of work or an airline so as to ensure that precautions are taken to avoid potential exposure. Anaphylaxis can be a serious condition, so ensuring others are aware of allergens that you or your child have to avoid is imperative. QR coded, our medical certificates can be validated and verified at any time.“
