What Is a Medical Exemption Certificate?
A medical exemption certificate is a document provided by a licensed doctor that verifies a medical condition preventing you from meeting a specific obligation, activity, or workplace requirement.
It can be used for schools, workplaces, travel, or any setting where a medical reason needs to be documented professionally.
Frequent Exemptions We Provide
Our doctors can issue certificates for a wide range of exemptions, including:
-
Shaving exemption – for individuals with skin or dermatological conditions (e.g., folliculitis, eczema, pseudofolliculitis barbae) aggravated by shaving
-
School shoe-wear exemption – for students with foot, skin, or orthopaedic conditions
-
School activity exemption – for students unable to participate in sports or certain school activities
- Toilet Pass – for School students to confirm underlying health conditions and requirement to access toilets on-demand
-
Mask exemption – for those with respiratory, psychological, or dermatological issues affected by mask use
-
Travel exemption – for medical conditions that prevent travel or vaccination
-
Work or university exemption – when a medical issue affects your attendance or ability to meet requirements
