About this medical letter
GP referral letter
If you have health condition that is causing you concern, you may require a GP referral letter to access private specialist care.
Our doctors can provide you with a same-day GP referral letter that will confirm your medical condition and symptoms, as well as the reason why specialist care is being sought. No appointment is needed – simply apply online.
What will I receive?
You will receive a verifiable digital PDF letter signed by a medical professional and sent directly to your mobile, containing the following details:
- Your medical condition and when symptoms started.
- How the condition affects you and what you are concerned about.
- The private specialist you need to see and how soon you need to be seen.
- Signature and authorisation by one of our GMC-registered UK doctors.
- Contact details of ZoomDoc Health with a QR code enabling a verification check.
How does it work?
Following the purchase of your GP referral letter, you will be asked to complete a short online form. This includes uploading a 30-second to 1-minute video to explain your condition and why you are seeking specialist care.
Your evidence is then reviewed by our doctors, prior to issuing you with your referral letter. If our doctors have any further questions, they may give you a quick call.
Accepted worldwide, this digital PDF letter is signed by a UK-registered doctor and includes a QR code enabling verification.
Our simple online process:

If you require a referral to see an NHS specialist, then you can arrange this, after assessment, via your NHS GP.

We only provide full refunds if we are unable to provide a medical letter.
Once our doctors have provided a medical letter, we are unable to process a refund.
