If you have low sex drive, low energy, or loss of muscle this test is key to determining if low testosterone levels is the cause.

How to take your home blood test

” Testosterone is a sex hormone produced by the testes in men. Women also produce testosterone in their ovaries and adrenal glands but in far smaller quantities. Testosterone is key for essential body functions, such as your sex drive (libido), muscle mass, energy levels, healthy bones,ย strength, and also your mood.

Testosterone also controls men’s sperm production, so changes in this hormone can alter your fertility. Levels are also known to decrease as you get older.ย This simple finger prick blood test can be undertake at home and sent back to our lab to analyse. If you are lacking in testosterone, supplements can be supplied by your GP. “
