At-Home PSA Test Kit for Men | Prostate Cancer Screening with GP Review
Take control of your prostate health with ZoomDocโs at-home PSA blood test kit, designed to measure Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA)โa key marker used in the early detection of prostate conditions, including prostate cancer.
This simple finger-prick blood test allows you to check your PSA levels from the comfort and privacy of your home, with results reviewed by experienced UK doctors.
What is a PSA Test?
PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) is a protein produced by the prostate gland. Elevated PSA levels in the blood may indicate:
-
Prostate cancer
-
Benign prostate enlargement (BPH)
-
Prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate)
While a raised PSA does not necessarily mean cancer, it may indicate the need for further medical investigation.
Why Take a PSA Test?
Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men, affecting over 41,000 men each year in the UK. It often develops without noticeable symptoms in its early stages, making proactive testing important.
This test is recommended if you:
- Are aged 50 or over
-
Have a family history of prostate cancer
-
Are experiencing symptoms such as:
-
Frequent urination
-
Difficulty starting or stopping urine flow
-
Weak urine stream
